iPhone 6: 4 New Features Users Would Like to See in Apple Device

With Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference in the tech world's rear view mirror, it seems all that's left for Apple is to begin rolling out its new line of mobile devices the iPhone and iPad.
With no new information or announcement other than the knowledge people won't be seeing any new iOS devices until September, it looks like customers have a while to wait just for the iPhone 5s let alone the iPhone 6. However, there could be a silver-lining to this massive timeline. With the iPhone 6 release date only on the horizon, it gives Apple a lot of time to continue to innovate and develop. Here is a list of the top 4 things users might be able to expect from the iPhone 6.
Finger Print recognition: This upgrade has been talked about for a while. It's hardly something the average person needs, but it would be a neat trick to be able to open up one's iPhone with a press or swipe of one's finger rather than having to punch in a four-digit code. In addition, it could be used to verify the owner's identity in order to make payments from your mobile device. Apple has reportedly filed some patents related to this feature according to CNET.
Bigger screen to match the growing phablet market: At a time when Apple's competitors, particularly the Samsung Galaxy S4, are making phones that are sized closer and closer to tablets, it only makes sense Apple would respond with a "phablet" sized incarnation of its iPhone. Rumors began circulating recently the iPhone 6 might end up having a 5.7-inch retina display. Below is an unofficial concept video, which shows a version of the iPhone with a 5.7-inch, 1920x1090 display at 386 pixels per inch according to The International Business Times.
Different colors: Apple has had a lot of success by offering its touch-screen iPod Touch models in different colors. The ability to individualize one's phone is becoming more and more important as the market for cases to the iPhone grows. People seem to want to personalize their smartphone in any way they can. In fact, photos leaked recently show prototypes of new iPhone trim colors. Users might be able to change the default silver volume and sleep buttons to be cold or copper-colored. Apple is rumored to be developing a low-cost plastic iPhone to be announced relatively soon. It's possible the different color rumors may end up applying to that model and not the iPhone 6. Then again, Apple could shock everyone and develop a smart-case for the iPhone like it did for the iPad.
Waterproof and durable: With Samsung's Galaxy S4 Active and Sony's Xperia getting so much attention, many are wondering if durable variants of smartphones will be the way of the future. Apple could decide to make a variant of the iPhone that is tailor made for the clumsier user. However, Apple typically doesn't do varients the way other electronic companies do. Their philosophy is more about putting the most wanted and viable innovations into one flagship device. As a result, many have speculated the success or failure of the Galaxy S4 Active and Xperia could prompt Apple to find a way to make the next iPhone water and dust proof.
Only time will tell exactly what Apple has in store for its next generation of iPhone. However, the company has proven that, on a long enough timeline, they're capable of giving people almost anything.
